The DSU is located in Duxbury’s historic Wright Building, once the location of the Duxbury Free Library, our updated space suits a variety of special events. Picture your next birthday party or celebration with three levels of party space, the latest sound equipment and fun lighting along with the staff to help you make it a success.
We’ve hosted outrageously fun, themed events:

- Bar Mitzvah/Bat Mitzvah
- Class Reunions
- Corporate Meetings and Parties
Amenities Include:
- DJ for hire
- Dance floor large enough for a live band
- Large flat screen TV’s for video games (console & games not included)
- Game room including billiards, table tennis and foosball
The DSU has three levels of available meeting and event space:
- Full Building – 150 person capacity Rental fee $150 per hour (2 hr minimum)
- Upstairs only – 60 person capacity Rental fee $75 per hour (2 hr minimum)
- Lounge – Mid-level – 27 person capacity Rental fee $30 per hour (2 hr minimum)
- Game Room – Basement – 63 person capacity
A refundable deposit of $150.00 secures your event space for two hours. Over 20 guests requires an On-site Event Manager, fee is $50.
