DSU GLEE club is coming!
|

The DSU GLEE club starts Tuesday, July 6th for seven consecutive Tuesday nights, 7pm - 9pm. Directed by Phil DellaNoce and Kerri MacLennan along with a number of very talented high school singers and performers, GLEE club is open to middle school and high school students. The program fee is $60 for middle school and $40 for high school students. Sign up by clicking here

Dear DSU Members and Friends,
A huge thank you to skateboarders, spectators, bands and volunteers for a very successful, first ever Summer Fest. The combination of skateboarding and music, along with generous giveaways from RIDE PHAT, Go Big Boarding of Duxbury, Luminate of Marshfield, The Surf Shop of Kingston and The DEW TOUR were a big hit with youth from all over the South Shore. So too, the level of competition in the skate park and variety of music provided phenomenal entertainment. Want to be a part of Duxbury's 4th July parade? This year, the DSU teams up with RIDE PHAT, Go Big Boarding and Benchwarmers to showcase our interpretation of American Pastimes. If you are interested in designing, decorating and distributing tons of candy along the parade route, sign up here. We will coordinate times next week to work on the float.
A final note before we kick back a little and enjoy the
summer. Our staff, board and volunteers have done an amazing job this year and we are all extremely grateful of your recognition and generosity. It has been a pleasure to see what thoughful and highly spirited young people can do for themselves and others. This summer, we lose our phenomenal staff to Crossroads for Kids and world
adventures, among other places, but would like to continue opportunities for young people to reconnect at the DSU. Please consider volunteering a few hours this summer to ensure our youth have safe and rewarding opportunities to stay connected.
Don't forget to complete your membership for the 2011 school year. Our Alden program is filling up. Middle
school and high school students can take advantage of early enrollment discounts before July 1st. Applications are available at DMS or on our website.
