Summer is here! We are so fortunate to have the ocean close by to cool down as well as the spontaniety of friends for daily high tide rituals at Blue Fish River. Life is pretty sweet!
Another great tradition punctuating summer in Duxbury is the 4th July parade. Artists, skateboarders, bike riders and rollerbladers, there's still room to be a part of Duxbury's
4th July parade? The DSU teams up with RIDE PHAT, Go Big Boarding, Benchwarmers and ONE to showcase our interpretation of American Pastimes. If you are interested in designing, decorating and distributing tons of candy along the parade route, sign up here. Decorating will be done in the DSU parking lot on Saturday morning.
Keep your eyes peeled for our float and you could be the lucky recipient of discounts and coupons found in reusable water bottles given away along the parade route! The DSU membership discount has been extended to July 9th for everyone!
The excitement is building for the DSU GLEE club starting
Tuesday, July 6th for seven consecutive Tuesday nights, 7pm - 9pm. Directed by Phil DellaNoce and Kerri MacLennan along with a number of very talented high school singers and performers, GLEE club is open to middle school and high school students. The program fee is $60 for middle school and $40 for high school students. Sign up by clicking here . Members and Nonmembers welcome, if you love to sing or want to share your love for the show, we want you!
