THIS PROGRAM HAS SOLD OUT!
The DSU offers this program Monday - Thursday, 2-3pm to Alden students for an annual fee of $380.00. These students will be escorted from school to the DSU, enjoy supervised activites and a light snack or they can register for fee based programs. At 3pm, students will be escorted to the DMS bus or picked up by a parent or guardian. Families are asked to provide a shelf stable snack 3-4 times a year or make an annual snack donation of $40.00.

Snack Donations
We know our Alden Members will be hungry when arriving at the DSU a little after 2pm and would enjoy a light snack. Families are asked to provide snack donation of shelf stable products, single serve or could be served in a cup. We anticipate your obligation is no more than 3-4 times per school year. Members will be polled for their preferred snack choices. An annual monetary payment of $40 can be made in place of supplying a snack. Bus transportation or Pick up
Per your instructions, your child will be chaperoned to the waiting buses at 3pm @ DMS by DSU staff (all children requiring bus transportation home at 3pm will need to complete bus information immediately). Information and specific requirements are available on the Alden school website.
Children being dismissed from the DSU as walkers to other locations are the responsibility of their parents. Please make note of this on your child's application.
If you plan to pick up your child at the DSU, please enter at the Percy Walker Pool entrance and follow into the DSU parking lot. If you have arranged for an alternative vehicle pick up, you must send an authorization with the driver or in advance by email at admin@duxburystudentunion.com. No child will be dismissed to a vehicle without parent/guardian consent. Children must be picked up promptly @ 3pm.
$5 penalty fee will be charged for late pick ups.

Donations
We are always looking for donations of board games, sports equipment, legos, dress up clothing, paints, markers, face paint, craft supplies, tattoos etc. Please keep us in mind when you or friends/family/neighbors/office are spring cleaning.
Volunteers
The DSU is a volunteer driven organization working with a small operating budget. We are dependent on the generosity of families to give of their time, talents and treasure. We want to make the DSU the best and brightest experience for your child and your contributions make a significant impact in the life of all children in this program. If you have an idea for spearheading a program or event, please see one of our Staff or Board Members and we will gladly support your efforts.
