Dear Members, Families, Friends and Supporters,
i love DSU! It's a culture Duxbury youth has created. Youth of all ages find their potential, their passions and discover their world here. But more than that, they love the way the DSU feels; they feel connected, inspired, challenged and excited.
Recently, the DSU hosted The Amazing Race in conjunction with Holly Days. It involved various road blocks, detours and challenges to showcase the best of Duxbury through the eyes of a young person. One of the stops required participants to introduce themselves to a senior citizen at the Senior Center, chat with them and ask for some words of wisdom which has carried them through life. Their responses; Follow your dreams, There's a lot to learn from old people if you weren't in such a hurry, Faith will take you everywhere, Do what makes you happy. When participants returned to the DSU with their completed race cards, many remarked about their Senior Center moments - it was definitely the most challenging but also the most rewarding. Thank you to our seniors for their indelible interactions.

This past weekend 7th and 8th graders got in the holiday spirit with back to back dances. The DSU also hosted the Pop Warner end of season parties and they loved our tribute to Duxbury Football State Champs.

Congratulations to the over 70 players and coaches for an incredible win and to parents, teachers, families, friends, peers and the Duxbury community for their unwavering support!
Stay tuned for more i love DSU activities in December.
