It's that anticipatory time of year with the holidays just around the corner. With it comes a sense of thankfulness and gratitude. In just five years, the Duxbury Student Union has grown in its capacity but even more so, its mission, to engage and empower youth to give beyond themselves and their backyards. Committed, caring youth, adults and community members have given enormously and many extraordinary outreach activities, programs and events have resulted in a vibrant, exciting identity for Duxbury's youth and the entire community.
So November we dedicate to giving and getting back even more.
Our Duxbury Interfaith Council Brownie Throwdown is ON with a goal for making
75 dozen brownies and donating 100 boxes of cereal. How does this happen?
Invite friends over this weekend for a Brownie Bake Off party. The more, the merrier!
Need service hours for NHS, confirmation or community service, Betty Crocker can help!
Add cereal to your grocery list. Just one box of cereal or one batch of brownies per family will easily get us to our goal. Brownies can be delivered anytime and will be frozen. Last day is Friday, November 18th. Your contributions will ensure over 100 Duxbury families in need have a memorable Thanksgiving holiday.
