You answered the call and thanks to members, families and friends, the Duxbury Interfaith Council will provide many families in need a memorable Thanskgiving holiday basket. Thank you!

Our Duxbury Interfaith Council Brownie Throwdown is still ON. 52 dozen brownies baked and packaged, just 23 dozen to go. 112 Cereal boxes received reaching the goal but more welcome. Many thanks to two families who donated 40 boxes of cereal each and to Sandy for negotiating with Foodies & Rite Aid on the purchase of cereal. Last day for dropping off baked goods is tomorrow Friday, November 18th. We are open till 10pm.

Support local musicians tomorrow, Friday 18th for our Coffee house at 7:00pm! Enjoy acoustic performances from Maddy Clark, Janine Neprud & Alenni Davis along with bands, The Sun Kings & New Violet. Recently signed musicians & coffee house regulars, The Fontaine Brothers will also perform.

Duxbury Holly Days is Sunday, November 27th from Noon - 4:00pm. It's a celebration and a huge give back to the community with local businesses and nonprofits, such as DSU, hosting open houses and interactive activities
engaging every resident of every age. Local artisans, retailers, businesses and nonprofits are made up of people who not only provide goods and services but also care about Duxbury and its residents. So get on the trolley and get to know Duxbury, its people, its personality, its vibrancy and most of all, SHOP DUXBURY.

The Amazing Race goes HOLLY DAYS. Thanks to our sponsorship from Siobhan Sheehan Orthodontics, registration for The Amazing Race is free. Teams of two start at the DSU and catch the trolley to six locations where they are required to participate in physical challenges, detours & roadblocks that are sure to turn on the jolly spirit. Participants return to the DSU with their completed card to be entered into a raffle for $50 first prize. Acess to a digital camera or cellphone with photo capabililties required.
