"'I love DSU' is a phrase frequently echoed by young peple and parents who have attended our programs and events. So, it made sense to have this as our tagline for our annual fundraising campaign" says Sue Bradford, Executive Director of DSU.

"I love DSU because it's a great way to make friends, find a new skill, or just hang out. It makes school easier to get through knowing as soon as its over I'll be with all the staff" says Richie Jacobson, 7th grader at DMS.

Maddy Clark, musician and DHS senior, says, "I love DSU because it has given me the opportunity to delve into the music scene in Duxbury, make a difference in the world, and has significantly impacted how I see the world we live in. I can only hope to find an equally positive and enriching environment where I can grow as a person, a musician, and feel connected to a community when I go off to college."

Parent and new DSU board member Allison Berry says, "I originally signed up my Alden School child to fill that hour created with the school time change but it's really become much more for me and my four children. I love DSU for its caring staff and range of offerings for all ages. As a Duxbury native, I wish we had a place like this when I was growing up!"

Parent Ken Meyers said  "Both my son Jamie and I have developed a terrific relationship with the DSU over the 3 years since Jamie began participating in 7th grade.  I love DSU for it's range of creative activities and impressive opportunities presented to these kids on a regular basis, and in such a well managed environment, is a win for parents and kids alike."

"
I love DSU. My rock band and I played our first live show at the DSU and my friends and I got to create and manage a summertime DSU skateboarding festival. Things like this have kept me coming back each year" says Jamie Meyers, student.
